Subhash Khand Youth Association had organised a grand celebration function on the 67th Independence Day of INDIA.

Subhash Khand residents celebrated the event starting with an excellent event in which over 288 residents & junior residents (Children) took part. The attaraction was the whole Su bhash Khand decorated by the Indian flags and baloons and Painting competition of children. All members assembled in main park of Subhash Khand at 10:00 AM where Sudhar Simiti President unfurled the Flag. Security guards & residents sang national anthem and saluted the national flag with pride. After sweets distribution other events started and the function continued till 5:00 PM

Subhash Khand Youth Association (SKYA) celebrated first family get together and kids performance program in society.

Subhash Khand Youth Association (SKYA) celebrated its first Annual Day on 3rd April 2016. A large number of residents participated.

The function started with Tambola with two groups and it was very successfully and then prize distributed to the Tambola winners. The show began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our guests. This was followed by a kids Dance, Singing , Rhymes the essence of which mesmerized the audience.

Reduce communication gap between residents and association by using Whats'app and website. Residents can advise, suggest or complaint on our interactive website.

The program was concluded together with entire society, Congratulated & lots of smile on every face and thanks to SKYA team.

Subhash Khand Youth Association (SKYA) installed CCTV camera in society for proper security system. This would be the first time in any society where such initiatives would be taken. SKYA team and the residents of the society assured the police department of full cooperation.

Subhash Khand Youth Association (SKYA) celebrated Lohri in society. Lohri is a popular festival, celebratedby Punjabi particularly of Hindu and Sikh faith. It is one of the greatest festivals of Punjab and Haryana and is celebrated on the 13th of January during the month of Paush or Magh, a day before Makar Sankranti.

Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights. First time ever, Subhash Khand Youth Association decorated Subhash Khand with full of lighting.

Making of Speed-Breakers on the society roads to reduce speed of vehicles and enhance safety of all the residents especially children and senior citizens.

Installed the house no marking board in each gali to easily search the house by the out siders. its really help a lots and our people appreciated by this action.

Subhash Khand Youth Association started a plantation drive as a green initiative to contribute towards polution free environment of our city. Residents took pledge by adopting a tree in our central park during massive plantation drive and establish our concern & responsibility towards Environment.

Following plants have been planted :

• Giri Nagar Sudhar Simiti.
• Mother dairy area.
• Children play area.

Once again the residents of Subhash Khand showed their strength by becoming together & coming out from their houses to replace the Security. The need for having a better & more professional security agency arose year ago, this task took a time longer than expected because of the as usual negligent attitude of the society members towards the interest of residents of the society.

To improve the overall security of the society ,deployement of new berigate on the passing road

Subhash Khand Youth Association with the society launched a day Cleanliness Drive. A large amount of garbage was picked up and removed from the society. It was a real cleaning and not symbolic for photo session only. Subhash Khand Youth Association urged the residents of the society to keep their surroundings clean and not to throw garbage in the open. The cleanliness drive was a great success and was very much appreciated by the residents. It was also decided by Subhash Khand Youth Association to make this cleanliness drive a regular affair instead of one day event.
